File this one under the category of, “why didn’t I make this sooner?!” As you know, I’m a fan of syrups: herbal syrups, berryย syrups, and even cocktail syrups. It’s such an easy way to fancify your cocktails. This syrup, however, is a game-changer. Coconut chai syrup for the win!

For some reason I never thought to mix sugar and coconut milk. A-MAZ-ING. Of course I had to add some chai tea, because, well why not? This lemonade seriously hit the spot last weekend after an epic day of yard work – perhaps even spiked with a splashย of rum? Just sayin’ . . .

Hey love the recipe but I looks like my coconut milk is cursing when I add lemon juice. Any help would be great

Looks yummy! How long does the coconut syrup last once you have made it?

Which type of coconut milk do you use? Refrigerated or Canned. Recipes using Coconut Milk are always confusing in that respect.

This looked so amazing that I immediately drove to the store to buy the ingredients. I made a triple batch of the syrup, and am letting it cool to room temperature until tomorrow.

Do you refrigerate your syrup, or will it “keep” if I just leave it in a mason jar for a couple of weeks? I’m wondering if the sugar almost acts as a preservative of sorts?

That’s awesome Reggie!! I would definitely store it in the fridge. Let me know how it turns out ๐Ÿ™‚

Just made this! It’s amazing, the perfect combination of tangy, creamy, and sweet; all around completely refreshing and satisfying. Thank you for the incredible recipes as always.

Best,

Arden

Awesome, thanks Arden!! Glad you enjoyed the lemonade. I’m just finishing up the last of my syrup now. Perfect for a warm Sunday like today ๐Ÿ™‚

This sounds/looks amazing! I recently made a green matcha lemonade that was super.

Whoa, that sounds amazing, Maria!! Might have to ask you about that one…

This just sounds incredible. I can just picture myself drinking this on a hot summer afternoon…

Just made this and LOVE the flavors.. the only bad part is that one of the tea bags broke while I was making the syrup, so I have some loose tea in it and that my syrup definitely didn’t turn this “caramel-y” color.. but it’s still delicious ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh no, Lucie!! I’ve had so many fails in the kitchen, it’s not even funny. Way to work it out in the end, and so happy you enjoyed!!

I just recently discovered chai tea (I know, where have I been?) and I LOVE it. Will definitely have to try this!

As I too, have epic yardwork in my weekend plans, I think I’ll make a batch of these to celebrate my completed tasks. Maybe mix in vodka just for a kick? Worth a shot (of vodka??), no?

That sounds delicious! Love the combo of coconut + chai + lemon flavors, that’s a combination I’ve never seen before but it sounds awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€

Recently discovered the combo myself. Wish I could say it was my idea, but my wife takes the credit ๐Ÿ˜‰ shhhhh…
