A traditional bloody mary recipe using freshly pureed heirloom tomato juice

For the cocktail

vodka

heirloom tomato juice

lemon juice

Worcestershire sauce

Tabasco

horseradish

For the heirloom tomato juice
1
cup
chopped ripe heirloom tomatoes
pinch
salt
Instructions
For the heirloom tomato juice
Core the heirloom tomatoes and add to your blender, along with a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
Strain tomato puree through a fine mesh strainer and set aside.
For the cocktail
For the cocktail, add all the ingredients to a mixing glass.
Add ice, shake, and strain over ice into a tall glass.
Top with a garnish of your choice.
