Yesterday was National Ice Cream Day, which means savoring a couple scoops from my local ice cream parlor was in order. But let’s be honest, who needs a “holiday” as an excuse to indulge in everyone’s favorite frozen treat?! With unique flavors, like earl grey, rose geranium pistachio, roasted plum cardamom, chamomile, and toasted oak with smoked sea salt, to experiment with, who would ever settle with plain ol’ vanilla these days? If you love ice cream as much as we do, stay tuned for some fun recipes this week!

I didn’t know it was ice cream day, it should be a worldwide holiday! I forgot to celebrate so I better make up for it.. twice. 🙂

awww….thanks so much for the feature! we are so obsessed with making homemade ice cream, and I love seeing all these wonderful ideas!

{and I just wanted to let you know that our blog is actually called “p.s. heart”, not tasty heart! 😛 }

Hey Kelsey, well thank YOU for the delicious inspiration!! Name is fixed, sorry about that 🙂

I’ve been dying to make an interesting homemade ice cream. Earl Grey sounds amazing. I might just have to make it in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the inspiration!
